Dr. Khalid B. Amar
Prior to his current role, Dr. Khalid has worked as Vice President Sales MENA for a world leading provider of gas turbine engines and turbo machinery with main focus market for the Arabian Gulf Council Countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman) within the Oil-and Gas and Power/Energy industry, generating sales of over $350 Million. He early saw the potential of those oil-rich countries to diversify their industries, which helped him later to build the foundation for his consulting business up to this date.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany) and Cornell University (USA) in Turbo-machinery Engineering and earned his doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics. A descendant from the royal Idrissid dynasty (Kingdom of Morocco) he speaks Arabic, French, English and German. Being a keen traveller, Dr. Khalid is always ready to interconnect everywhere and anytime - thus he is the driving force.
